25 Kicks and Giggles!!!

Tagged! I love these, I really Do!!! I love how random people can be, humans can be so strange!!!
So here are 25 quirky, funny, or just plain strange things about me! Ok I may have written a small novel here... oh well!

1. I eat chocolate everyday. Its like a daily vitamin, whether a Hesheys kiss, some M &Ms or chocolate instant breaksfast, i MUST HAVE CHOCOLATE!!!

2. Busy is Better for me. I dont know why, but I get so much more accomplished when I am busy than when I have lots of free time... like this week I had 3 days off and I just slip into LAZY mode!!!

3. I am HORRIBLE with directions- I know this is sometimes common with females, but I am telling you, the easier they are, the more lost I will get myself. I must have called Blake lost in my own neighborhood a handful of times!

4. I am a dumb smart person. You know those people who are certainly intelligent but lack basic common sense? Yup! Thats ME!

5. I LOVE comedy!!! I seriously love a good laugh, and if you know me you know its easy to crack me up! What can I say? I am just so easily entertained!

6. I HEART SCRUBS!!! I seriously think this is the most hilarious show on the planet!!! It has quirky and witty lines and the funniest insults ever! (eg. How depressing is it being you?) or (eg. I care so little I almost passed out)

7. I love THATS WHAT SHE SAID lines! I stink at coming up with them, but I end up rolling on the floor when I hear a good one!

8. Eyeliner is my nemesis. So I love to smile and I do it several times everyday, but when I smile my cheeks rise and make my eyes crinkle... leaving a smudgy mess of eyeliner below my eyes at the end of the day! It has been almost an 8 year battle trying to be able to wear my eyeliner without having it smudged all over my face by the end of the day! The battle continues...


9. I am HORRIBLE with names!!! I memorize faces, clothes, cars, even gestures but for the life of me I cant do names! Just to show how bad I am, here a conversation I had with a brother in our ward on sunday.

Me: Hi there, its Joooohn, riiight?
HIM: Matthew.
Me: right right, and its Siiiiimmons...right?
HIM: Jordon.
Me: right right, and you're studying engineering right?
HIM: music.

10. I clog the shower every morning. I have enough hair to make wigs for an entire chemo ward, ( to which i donated A LOT of hair) and huge chunks of it manage to come out every morning and clog our drains. I'm still left with a huge head of hair, yet I cant make it stop coming out!

11. I take boiling hot showers! K this one runs in the family because my mom is the same way, I have to have my shower super hot, which means when I am done the hot water is always gone, and nobody in their right mind would shower with me!

12. I am a sucker for big muscles! I love a guy who is ripped! Blake did weights bigtime and he has some massive arms and I think its so HOT! He even got stretch scars on his arms and that just doubles the hotness!

13. I am OCD about daily TO DO lists. Everyday I plan my day out with a to-do list. Not just a list of things I need to acomplish, but I break down the day into hours and I write down what I will be doing every hour! And if I get off schedule I get really ticked off, and I am totally lost if I lose the TO DO list.

14. I am deathly scared of needles!!! Ok I know this is not the best phobia for a nurse to have seeing as I give shots a handful of times a day, but the thing is I have no problem jabbing somebody else, but as soon as the needle is coming for me, eeeeeeeeeeekkk!!! I HATE SHOTS!!

15. I have Icicle hands. Again, not a desirable thing in a nursing profession but it doesn't matter how warm I am, how long I rub my hands together, or how cushy my mittens are, they are always ice hands! Same goes with the feet.

16. I am a big story teller. I cant just TELL you what happened, because thats boring. I always make everything a big long story with plenty of dramatic elements, and of course plenty of exaggerations. If I were serious than approx 100 days out of the year would be the BEST. DAY. EVER!

17. I'm with Julie L. on this one- believe it or not, used to have straight hair. Ugly. Boring. Puberty, BANG. Curly. Love it now!

18. Love my "Kiddie" movies! I could watch kids movies all day, be it Land Before Time or Veggie Tales. Luckily, Blake likes them also, and The Incredibles and Madagascar are some of our favs.

19. I am a chicken in scary movies! Ok I dont know what happened but I used to love scary movies and I used to love freaking myself out. Then I guess when I met Blake we always watched funny movies or kid movies and now for some reason scary movies terrify me! Even I Am Legend was waaaaay too scary for me! I'll pass on the horror movies please!

20. I have ALWAYS wanted to be married. Yeah I know this is really weird but seriously since like 1st grade I have wanted to be married! Yup I have just always been that way and always wanted to and knew I would marry early!

21. I have an Old Soul. This goes along with #20, but I truly feel my maturity for a long time has been way beyond my years. Many people have told me I have an old soul. I think I do.

22. Can't go a day without milk. (cue 3-a-day of dairy song). I love love love it!

23. I clench my jaw almost constantly. I dont even realize I do it, my dentists beg me to stop, but I cant!!! Now I have a jaw click, problems with my TMJ, and Linea Alba (meaning I am biting the inside of my cheeks when I clench). Viscious cycle.

24. Never broke/strained/sprained/cracked or dislocated any part of my body ever!!! (big knock on wood)

25. I love (and who doesn't?) sleeping!!! I love it a little too much... If I could sleep until noon every day I totally would!! Oh, and if you wake me up before I want to be woken, or even worse, 5 minutes before my alarm goes off... YOU WILL PAY!!!!! (Blake caught on real quick). I can get a tiny little bit cranky in the mornings...

I'm sure thats all you'll ever want to know about me, hehe! Now lets hear about the rest of ya'll. Alright, I basically just dumped all my pictures from the last 30 days onto my blog because I truly meant to blog about all of them! But you know, "I-got-around-to-it"s are hard to come by these days! Can I get an Amen? Blake and I have hit the sack every night for the last few weeks exhausted. We are both working really hard and we are currently running 3 businesses! I am so proud of Beak, he is never lazy and he is a big thinker! Well enjoy flashes from the last 30 days of my life, maybe a little blabbering, but hey when you were corked for a month there is sure a lot to say once you finally get back on track!

I love bright colors, and for V-day Blake is rarely traditional, so here come my beautiful orange roses! Oh and the curious bottle is ROOT Beer, his gift included the 2nd season of Scrubs (Hil-LAR-I-ous!) and a case of Henry Weinharts... cant beat that.
This is Blake's messy office at our Satellite company, but on V_day he was burrowed back here for hours! I was up front watching TV and all I could hear was squeaking and popping so I couldnt wait to see what he was making me! He made me a balloon bouquet of balloon flowers, complete with monkeys clinging to the sides! I love it! It was so beauitful but we couldnt take it out of the store because it was so big, and then a bunch of evil kids attacked it and popped it. Oh well, I still loved it!

I love reading, and this is my latest finish. Jeff Olsen goes into debt about what it really means to set a goal and reach it, what it means to have self-confidence as well as slef discipline, and how winners have the slight edge as their complete advantage. IT was an awesome read, and I really needed the advice because having two businesses almost matured and third one barely up and running, we have some lofty goals going here! I highly recommened to anyone who simply wants self-improvement.

Aww... Our good friends Nate and Cami! Cami is one of our super awesome newer employees and Nate is a good friend and mentor of ours, he has helped us get our third business up and running. Also, he just recently was baptised! Anyways they look almost like siblings but they announced that they are getting married this summer!!! Congrats guys! I dont know what we would do without you both!

Last Christmas a gift to our family was our nephew Kyson came home from the Army for a few weeks. He is back now and heading into Airbourne, we wish him the best, and also a happy birthday!

Rest in Peace Charlie

When you dont have kids yet, your pets feel like your babies! We are sorry to say that Charlie had heart disease and was in a lot of pain, so we had to put him down. We will miss you Charlie!

I love to See the Temple...

I thought this was a beautiful picture of the Rexburg temple. Its beautiful inside as well, this weekend we were able to travel to the Rexburg temple and attend the sealing of our cousins and their son. It was such a wonderful experience having so many family members together in the temple. The spirit was so strong and it really was a celebration! We were so happy to see this family come together, and they looked so happy!!! I am so grateful to know that families can be together forever, that we have a Heavenly Father who loves us and forgives us, and wants us to be together. Unfortunatly I was so caught up in the event I never took any pictures!!! We had family members galore, and as you can imagine there were screaming kids, catching up with relatives, a few tears of happiness shed, and lots games and eating to wrap it up! I really love my family and cousins and I sure wish some of them would move to Boise!!!!

ANYways, the holidays were great but pics will be late because once again my camera is MIA. We had some great events besides a great christmas. Our Nephew Kyson came home from the army and we were all so excited to see him. Later I was contacted by Progressive Nursing and hired, layed off, and then re-hired again on a part time basis and at this point I am just grateful that I am employed! I get to work in home health for pediactrics and I absolutely love it so far!

Blake and I are so excited for what the new year will bring!!! We are so excited with what is going to happen with our business and with my job... we cant even hold still! We have set some goals for this year and though they are for us to know and everyone else to find out but I cant wait to share our dreams as they start to come true.

We are so grateful to have the opportunities we have been given, and to have the spirit to help guide us and direct us. We are grateful for such loving families and friends and for parents who taught us well! THis year is going to be great everyone so hold on and enjoy the ride!

This season has been different than any other Christmas I have had. Though we always believe in charity and helping hands with the holidays, I admit that gifts have always been a huge focus for me during the Holidays. Its hard to help, but this year, we decided to go easy on lots of presents for ouselves and instead focus on our families and what they deserve. I cant believe how different it has made the whole season for Blake and I. Without focusing on gifts, things like love and family have become so prominent. Everything like Christmas trees and Christmas carols seems more meaningful. Like Bowen says, all that is dear and lasting becomes more important, and its like...
